Why does dieting suck!!
I use to ask this question over and over again. You see, I was never a athlete growing up. I didn't play high school or soccer or college ball. In fact I was the opposite of those people. I was the kid that was doing drugs, drinking, and having a lot of issues that all culminated one night when my good friend died in a drunk driving accident my senior year in high school. I realized as I was walking across the stage at my graduation that I needed to make a drastic change or I was going to end up dead too so I signed up for a marathon.
During those next few months I started cleaning up my life in order to accomplish this new goal. Along the way I became obsessed about fitness, nutrition, and health. I read every book I could get my hands I was working out consistently but I couldn't stick to my diet consistently and it was so frustrating!!
I started asking myself "why do you want to lose weight" and it was only through those honest answers that I discovered that dieting and weight loss is 50% Mentality & 50% Habits. If your head isn't in the right space and you habits are horrible then your efforts will fail. I figured out how to get myself in the right head space, break and improve my habits, and suddenly dieting and weight loss became EASY and FUN!!!
I started teaching others how to do the same and the results started pouring in!! I end up discovering my passion and purpose in life and my new obsession!!
